The Season of Giving

While we recently published our Inhabiter Holiday Gift Guide, and many are focussed on buying gifts for their loved ones, it's also a good reminder that there are many who need our help at this time and throughout the year.

Of course there are many worthy causes all over the city but we wanted to share places in South Granville where you can contribute to charity and share the spirit of the season with others less fortunate.

West Elm Market

How much do we love these guys? Not only are they arguably taking donations for Vancouver Children's Hospital at the till but their baristas are donating all their tips to the hospital as well. Also, you know those fabulous syrups they put in your latte? For a limited time, they are selling those in gorgeous Weck jars with all proceeds going to the Children's Hospital.

Scott Landon Antiques

This season, Scott Landon Antiques is  supporting Canuck Place through the sale of these gorgeous vintage ornaments, just like the ones your mum had. Prices range from $5 to $100 with all proceeds going to the charity. Canuck Place Children's Hospice provides specialized pediatric palliative care for children living with a life-threatening illness and support for their families throughout British Columbia. Precious and delicate indeed.
