ZE: "Highly anticipated (75% for the red carpet 25% for the montages) and subsequently hugely disappointing. Fashion predictions include: the color yellow & underpants - montage predictions include: forced song & dance numbers without a glimmer of old Hollywood talent."
LC: "Year after year, I still love the dresses, the opening monologue always sets the evening success for me, and I still always cry during the “In Memoriam” portion…. In fact I cry though a lot of the Oscars - so its generally a cleansing, cathartic, albeit sometimes drunken experience for me.”
HM: "I enjoy the moment where you say to yourself — like the exuberant moment when Roberto Benigni won for Life is Beautiful and climbed over chairs on his way to the stage — this is the moment of the night that everyone will remember. And the gowns of course."
HP: "In years past, when I had more opportunity to slavishly watch every nominated movie, I took part in contests/excuses for Oscar parties and usually won. These days I'm content to see the gowns, the jewels and the numerous celebrity cringe factor moments over a glass of wine (at home)."
