Two Cents: Breakfast

It's hard to screw up breakfast, but people manage to do it anyway. It's the most important meal of the day so you better get it right. God knows we try.

ZE: "I go through phases - weekends are generally reserved for bacon and South African eggs or silver dollar pancakes. Weekdays are berries, yoghurt and honey but no matter what breakfast always includes a cup of milky tea."

LC: "Steal-cut quick-oats with a scoop of crunchy peanut butter mixed in or a smoothie from Whole Foods. On Sundays its usually a pastry. "

HM: "Coffee made in my Italian coffee pot, finished with milk, and toast with butter and sometimes jam. Eggs on the weekend."

HP: "My husband and I love a good old fashioned eggs (style depends on immediate mood), hash browns and bacon breakfast (weekends) - coffee is a given.  Second option, especially in summer, would be fresh fruit, plain yogurt and Alpen muesli on top and coffee (mimosa optional), all enjoyed on the balcony."
